1861 F21 (Gouby E+d; Freeman 3+D) (R18)
Pennies with Gouby obverse E (Freeman 3) are very rare dated 1861 (F21) and extremely rare dated 1862 (BP1862B).
In the 2003 edition of his book “The Early British Bronze ‘Bun’ Pennies 1860 to 1865 and their Varieties”, John Jerrams’ census (up to September 2001) recorded 11 specimens.
