1862 (Gouby J+g; Freeman 6+G) – 3 extra plumes (R18?)
Note: there appear to be 3 small extra plumes sticking out from the left of Britannia’s helmet plume (sometimes called the “cock’s comb” variety)
In the 2003 edition of his book “The Early British Bronze ‘Bun’ Pennies 1860 to 1865 and their Varieties”, John Jerrams’ census (up to September 2001) recorded 4 specimens.
